HAVE QUESTIONS?
Frequently Asked Questions
Sometimes the question isn’t whether you need change. It’s whether you’re ready to understand what has been keeping you from creating it.
These FAQs will help you understand my approach to coaching, courses, speaking, and personal transformation so you can decide what level of support is right for you.
Coaching
Speaking & Organizations
I help people understand the thoughts, beliefs, emotional patterns, and relationship dynamics influencing the way they live, love, communicate, and make decisions. My work centers on emotional intelligence, accountability, self awareness, relationships, and self leadership. Instead of only asking, “What happened to me?” we begin exploring a more powerful question: “What am I believing, choosing, or repeating because of what happened?”Awareness gives you information. What you choose to do with that information is where transformation begins.
Therapy and coaching can both be valuable, but they serve different purposes.Licensed therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions and may help clients process trauma, psychological distress, and experiences from the past. As a Certified Life Coach, I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. My coaching focuses on awareness, personal responsibility, decision making, emotional intelligence, patterns, and forward movement. We examine how you think, what you believe, how those beliefs influence your choices, and whether those choices are creating the life and relationships you actually want.Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, and some people benefit from having both.
No. In fact, many of the people drawn to my work are successful, capable, self aware adults who realize that success in one area of life does not automatically create fulfillment in every area. You may have built the career, earned the degree, raised the family, or become the person everyone depends on and still find yourself asking, “Why do I keep doing this?” or “Why does this part of my life still feel so hard?”You do not have to wait until something falls apart to become curious about yourself.
Metacognition simply means thinking about your thinking. Most of us respond to our thoughts as though every thought is automatically true. My work teaches you to notice the thought before automatically becoming the behavior. You begin asking: Where did this belief come from? Is it actually true? What does believing it cause me to feel? What choices do I make when I believe it? What might become possible if I chose a different belief? When you can observe your thinking, you gain more power over what happens next.
No. Relationships are one of the places where our internal patterns become easiest to see, but this work reaches far beyond romantic relationships. The same beliefs that influence who you choose may influence how you lead, communicate at work, set boundaries, handle conflict, pursue opportunities, respond to rejection, manage success, or advocate for yourself.Different situation. Same person. Sometimes, the pattern travels with us.
My work is for adults who are willing to be curious about themselves and take responsibility for what they can control. You do not need to have everything figured out. You do need to be willing to examine your patterns without immediately defending them.My community includes people of different backgrounds, identities, relationship structures, careers, and life experiences. You are not required to fit a particular mold to do this work.
Knowing and changing are two different skills. You can know exactly where a pattern came from and still repeat it. You can understand your childhood, recognize your triggers, know your attachment tendencies, and still make the same choice when an old emotional response takes over. That is why my work moves beyond “Why am I like this?” and into “What am I going to choose now that I can see it?”Insight matters. Integration changes things.
My job is not to run your life better than you can.I will challenge you, ask questions you may not have considered, help you recognize inconsistencies, and hold you accountable to what you say you want. But the goal is not dependence on a coach. The goal is developing enough self trust and self awareness that you can make intentional decisions for yourself.I am interested in helping you hear yourself more clearly, not replacing your voice with mine.
That is more common than you might think.Self awareness can be uncomfortable because sometimes we discover that the story we have been telling ourselves is incomplete. We may recognize where someone hurt us while also recognizing where we abandoned ourselves, ignored what we knew, avoided a conversation, or continued participating in something that was no longer working. That awareness is not an invitation to shame yourself. It is an opportunity to decide what happens next. You cannot intentionally change a pattern you refuse to see.
There are several ways to enter this work depending on the level of support you want.My self paced courses allow you to work through emotional intelligence, accountability, and relationship patterns on your own schedule. The Reset Room provides continued learning, community, and ongoing support. For those seeking deeper individualized work, I offer a limited number of one on one coaching opportunities. You do not have to start with the biggest commitment. Start with the level of support that matches where you are right now.
My six week self paced courses are $588 each and are designed for people who want structured personal development they can complete at their own pace.Private one on one coaching is $3,500 for an eight week experience and provides a more personalized level of support, reflection, strategy, and accountability. If you are not ready for either, you can begin with my free resources and educational content. Transformation does not have to begin with the biggest investment. It begins with a decision to engage differently.
If you are new to my work, I recommend beginning with Emotional Intelligence for Relationships, Leadership, and Life. Emotional awareness creates the foundation for the deeper work that follows. From there, the accountability course helps you examine your choices and personal responsibility, while Love Is a Mirror explores the beliefs and patterns showing up in your relationships.Think of it as learning to recognize what you feel, understanding what you choose, and then seeing how both show up in the way you connect with others.
The Reset Room is for people who understand that growth is not something you complete once and check off a list.It is an ongoing membership community centered on emotional intelligence, accountability, relationships, self awareness, and intentional living. Think of it as having personal development and accountability support available beyond a single course or coaching experience.Because sometimes you do not need to start over. You need a place to reset.
Yes. I offer an eight week private coaching experience for individuals who want deeper, personalized support. One on one coaching gives us the opportunity to examine your specific patterns, beliefs, relationships, decisions, and goals rather than working through a general curriculum. If you are unsure whether private coaching is the right fit, you can schedule a discovery call before making that decision.
